Let's hear it for the girls!

Hey Spring Chicks, I'm so excited to share a purse just for you moms!  No worries, there were no baby boys harmed in the picture-taking of this purse :)

This cute little handbag is made from Amy Butler fabric: Soul Blossoms Passion Sari Blooms in Moss (boy was that a mouthful...or handful since I'm typing?) and I used Moda fabric Oz by Sanae Brick Road in pink for the upper part of the purse and for the lining.  I also used the Amy Butler for a sweet, concise pocket inside with magnetic snap closure.

Giant rosette headband for baby $10
Each giant rosette is removable and can be used as a hair clip or
pinned to your diaper bag, purse, jacket or favorite shirt.

Without a little girl nearby to model my new rosette headband, my poor son was used as a stand-in!  Right about now my husband is questioning our decision for me to stay home with our son.  My little guy was such a good sport for the first headband, but notice the VERY unimpressed look on his face for the second headband!  I was rushed to get it on and it's a little crooked...I heart that boy :)

Alexander Henry Mocca Shoulder Tote $30

I find myself super excited for all the projects I have in store.  If only I had more time!! :)  Here are a couple things to show you a few more of the directions I'm going with my sewing.  Keep checking in for more!



Front side pocket



This comfortable and stylish Alexander Henry Mocca tote features three inside pockets that easily fit your cell phone, keys, and whatever else you fancy.
It includes a magnetic snap closure.
The fabric has been fused with interfacing, allowing it to better keep its shape.
Sturdy red duck cloth was used for the straps, inside lining, and base. All fabric was pre-washed and can be spot cleaned.

The tote measures 12" deep and 11" across.

The wide straps are 29" long and work great over the shoulder.
